CILT Egypt Trainers Guidelines

Criteria for inclusion on the list

• Exclusion criteria:
             o Candidates shall be excluded from participation if:
                  they are bankrupt or being wound up, are having their affairs administered by the courts, have entered into an arrangement with creditors, have suspended business activities, are the subject of proceedings concerning those                      matters, or are in any analogous situation arising from a similar procedure provided for in national legislation or regulations;
                  they have been convicted of an offence concerning their professional conduct by a judgement
                  they have been guilty of grave professional misconduct proven by any means which the contracting authority may justify;
                  they have not fulfilled obligations relating to the payment of:
                              • CILT Egypt membership fees
                              • Social security contributions or the payment of taxes in accordance with the legal provisions of the country in which they are established or with those of Egypt;
                              • they have been the subject of a judgement for fraud or  corruption

• Selection criteria:
            o In order to be selected, the candidates must fulfil the following requirements:
                 hold a university degree;
                 Appropriate working knowledge of English.
                 have at least ten years of professional experience, including at least five years acquired in one of the following topics:

                                       - Logistics Passenger Transport

                                       - Customer Service and Marketing Freight Transport Services

                                       - Passenger Transport Services Planning and Operating Passenger Transport

                                       - Warehousing and Inventory Business Theory

                                       - Purchasing Business Application

                                       - Planning and Operation of Freight Transport Warehousing

                                       - Inventory Passenger Transport Operations

                                       - Procurement Port Operations.

                                       - Freight Transport Operations Managing transport and logistics operations

                                       - Supply Chain Operations Managing Resources

                                       - Transport Planning Transport Economics and Finance

                                       - Green Logistics Logistics and Supply Chain

                                       - Global Logistics Inventory and Warehouse Management

• Other conditions and criteria
             o Before signing the contract with AAC, the selected candidates will be requested to make 15-30 minutes demo on their topic of specialization (Training demo) and will beasked to present supporting documents (i.e., copy of                           university degree and certificates of working experience).

             o Applicant's geogra phical origin as well as professional background will be taken into account in drawing up the list. AAC also seeks the balanced participation of men and women.

             o The experts selected will have to sign a declaration certifying that they have no conflict of interests and that they without delay will inform the AAC if such conflict of interests should emerge during the course of their contracts.                       There is a conflict of interests where the impartial and objective exercise of the functions of a training expert is compromised for reasons involving family, emotional life, political or national affinity, economic interest or any other                   shared interest with the proposers.

             o Throughout the implementation of the contract, the logistics and transport training expert must demonstrate appropriate devotion to duty and observe the confidentiality of the information and documents brought to their attention                 during the process.

             o Processing your reply to the present call for experts will involve the recording and processing of personal data (such as your name, address and resume).

             o AAC will publish periodically in its web site the list of experts who have signed contractsas Logistics and transport training expert.

             o Inclusion on the lists entails no obligation on the part of the Arab African Center or CILT Egypt concerning the award of a contract.

             o The list drawn up following this call for expert shall be valid until the end of 2006.

             o The place of work will be the place where AAC organizes the training.
